Paul Smith Junior
A bicycling accident that ended his dreams of becoming a pro cyclist launched the design career of Paul Smith. After meeting with some friends, Smith joined Lincroft Kilgour in Savile Row where his designs were worn by celebrities.
By 1976 Paul Smith showed his first menswear collection in Paris, under the Paul Smith label. He then opened on Floral Street in London's Covent Garden in 1979, where his shop offered an eclectic combination of clothes and 'finds' for men which reflected his own magpie personality. The success of the Paul Smith brand may be attributed to the successful blending of the classic yet quirky relatively traditional designs that offer a twist of individuality. Those same looks are now available in the Paul Smith Junior collection for boys and girls you see here.
